It should have been a special and memorable day out, instead it was a bit of a nightmare. Overall, we felt completely cheated in how much we got done for 400 dollars for the 5 of us. Lastly, on arrival when bags were being searched, there was one incredibly rude lady who snatched a lady's bag to search it, she was quite abusive to the lady whose bag it was and quite honestly she should be sacked for how aggressive she was. Eventually they put another lady on the till. One side had 3 staff serving and our side had one incredibly slow lady. The queues were massive, the staff incredibly slow. Finally, at the gift shop we nearly lost the will to live. Even just the toilets at the entrance had a long queue, as there weren't enough and the toilets weren't very clean either. Lots of attractions and shows shut 4.00 ish, so we missed them. This is the business model chosen by NASA for the visitor complex which allows us to maintain and add new exhibits such as the 100 million Space Shuttle Atlantis in 2013 and the 10 million Heroes and Legends in 2016. Instead it is funded by visitor-generated revenue. Long queue for Atlantis, so apart from half an hour in the play area (our children's favourite bit) that was all we managed to do. The visitor complex is actually not funded by U.S. Disney is at its busiest being the Easter holidays but queues are run so efficiently. We have been staying at Disneyworld for 2 weeks and they really need to go there to take notes of how an efficient business is run. Queues moved so slow for everything, it is just so badly organised. From the moment we spent absolutely ages waiting to get into the car park, which had such an old ticket machine, a man had to stand there helping, to the end of the day it was just constant queuing.
